Poem: Always Yes

Late again, but I am still here.

You say no, but all I hear is yes.

You say it will not work, but all I think about is that it will.

You say turn around you are not welcome, but I see a door open for me to walk in.

You say this is not for you, but I see my name written all over the place.

You say this song you will not understand, I cried the same tears you did, and felt every word.

You say you will fail, but I see the answers all around the wall.

You say go back from where you came, and I just smile and stand tall.

For every no, there is a yes.

A door will always close, but a window is always on the side.
