Hot Girls Wanted

This post is for mature audiences. Hot Girls Wanted (2015) is a documentary film by Jill Bauer and Ronna Gradus; about the lives of girls who are in amateur porn. The film follows the lives of young women between the ages of 18-25. The film shows how these sweet and innocent your girls get involved in the porn industry without really knowing.

This was an interesting film for me. It showed me how a simple ad posted on craigslist can change so many young girls’ lives. The message usually says “free trip to Miami,” and so many girls fall for it every time. The film follows a couple of amateur porn stars, one of them goes by the porn name of “Stella May” (her real name is Tressa Silguero.) She was one of the sweet innocent high school cheerleader, who saw an ad on craigslist and thought this was her chance to leave her small town. So one day that is what she did, without telling her parents anything. Her story is highlighted the most throughout the film.

Overall I would say that this documentary was more informational than anything else. These are sad stories, for the fact the girls would throw away their lives for a little bit of fame and money. To make things worse they have at least three months to either make it in the industry, and if they don’t they will mostly have to go back to their regular lives.  The message I think that this film was trying to make was how easy it is for young girls to get trick into something

Flashback Friday: Citizenfour

In 2013 the world learn about NSA spying scandal. The documentary Citizenfour (2014) details what happen during that time. Edward Snowden is the man that is responsible for releasing the documents to the world with the help of Laura Poitras, a documentary film maker, Glen Greenwald an investigated journalist, and Ewen MacAskill a reporter for The Guardian.The documentary is shot in real time so as everything is coming out you get to see first why he did it, and how it happened. You get to see when they first met Snowden,and what he is like after the information comes out.

Before watching this film i did not know much about the NSA scandal, but after watching this film it open my eyes to things that i could not believe. You get to see why Snowden did this, and how he did this. There are a few scenes in which they have to talk in code so that he can stay hidden. Most of the time, Snowden is worried about his girlfriend and how his actions have affected her.
If you think you already know what happened think again. This is one move that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

This movie made me ask one question what this all worth it for him?

American Crime

American Crime (John Ridley) which is completely different then  American Crime Story (Ryan Murphy), has to be one of the best shows on television right now. The first season of the show was good, but the second season is off the charts!

With the same cast as last year, but a completely different story. This years story involves around a boy who is attending a private school, who ends up getting rape at a party thrown by members of the basketball team. Mot of the students come from rich families, and there are some that are on a scholarships, but they all are treated differently by the members of the school. From race to their financial background.

Felicity Huffman plays the guidance counselor at the school who is only looking out for the best interest of the school. Lili Taylor plays the mother of the boy who was raped, and she will do anything to get justice for kid after the school does nothing. Regina King plays the mother of the basketball player who throw the part, and he also 18 which means that his named can be used.

The shows give people in insight about when boys get raped people tend to not believe that it can happen to them, and how it is hard to prove that it is true. How a mother will to save her son from both ends of the spectrum.

I would recommend that everybody watch this show. American Crime airs Wednesdays on ABC.

Throwback Thursday: Sons of Anarchy

Sons of Anarchy has to be in the top five of my favorite shows of all time. I did not think that i was going to like this show at first, but as the first season goes on i find myself getting addicted to it. The show was created by Kurt Sutter (2008), and it starts Charlie Hunnam as Jax Teller the air apparent to the throne of the motorcycle club Son of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original (SAMCRO), Katey Sagal as Gemma Teller Morrow Jax’s mother and also the original old lady of the club. These two are the main character through out the  run of the show.

The show centers around a motorcycle club and the family who started the club. It chronicles the mayhem they cause to each other, and the people around them. They are guns dealers for the Irish, and they also run a porn studio and auto shop.

This is one show that I would recommend that everybody should watch. It is a little bit slow at certain points, but when it picks up it is well worth it. This was one of those shows that grows on you. You want to stop watching it but you can not.  It teaches you how sometimes family are the ones that will hurt you the most, and you have to know when to leave before it gets to late.

This clip is off Gemma death. After finding out that his mother was the one that killed his wife Jax, must kill his mother so that the mayhem can stop. Though he does not want to they both know that it has to be done.
